Back: Strongman training for bodybuilding with British athlete Colin Jones

Ben Kenyon

Training your back is a cornerstone of any strength and conditioning programme.

But if you’re training for aesthetics, performing the same old movements can go pretty stale and soon your muscles will adapt to what you’re throwing at them.

You can mix it up and add variations…or you can try something completely different to really shock the muscles to grow.

For four weeks we have brought you videos from British athlete Colin Jones who trains strongman but has the physique of  a bodybuilder – like the legendary five-time World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski.

So far we have covered how you can implement strongman moves into your bodybuilding programme for chest, shoulders and legs training.

But the final week Colin shows three key strongman moves you can use to build strength and great aesthetics.

Part four focuses on tyres flips, deadlifts and arm-over-arm rope pulls – how to do them and why they will help improve your body composition.
