How The Simpsons' most legendary villain was born.

Kelsey Grammer was a guest on the Graham Norton Show on Friday, but with him came the voice box of one of modern-day television's most infamous and charismatic bad guys. The former Frasier star spoke about how he landed the role of Sideshow Bob on the world's long-running animated show, and informed Norton about how his enmity with Bart Simpson came about. It turns out that Grammer's casting had as much to do with the thespian's singing ability than it did his acting chops, and that an old acquaintance was the inspiration behind Sideshow's famous voice. He may be an evil genius (Bob, not Kelsey), but we could listen to this voice for hours. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKp8LotKxZ8
