This is what Matt Le Blanc is reportedly being paid to present Top Gear

Clarkson will be p*ssing himself!

If we got the chance to present Top Gear we’d do it for free.

Mucking about, driving fast cars and travelling the world – you wouldn’t even have to pay us.

But despite it being the dream job, a man’s gotta eat.

New presenter Matt le Blanc, who will host the show alongside DJ Chris Evans, is expected to pick up a generous pay packet for his work.

The Mirror report that the former Friends star could be on £500,000 to co-host the BBC’s flagship motoring show after Jeremy Clarkson was sacked and James May and Richard Hammond defected with him to front a new Amazon Prime show.

It’s around half of what Chris Evans is believed to be on – with the former getting £3m out of a three year contract with Top Gear.

Clarkson will be p*ssing himself laughing at the lot of them though. He is reportedly on £800,000 PER EPISODE at Amazon after the internet giant pumped £160m into making 36 episodes.

This ridiculous £10m-a-year pay cheque is around 10 times what he was on at the BBC. Our eyes are watering.
