People just discovering one of the ‘best shows ever’ after it’s added to Netflix

It’s taken them long enough

Netflix has just added all eight seasons of one of the best shows of the last 30 years to the site, and people are mindblown after discovering it.

The show, which first came out in 2006, has to be one of the bloodiest binge watches out there.

Dexter has officially hit the streaming service, and viewers can’t believe it’s taken this long for them to discover it.

Following Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, the series chronicles his journey as a forensic technician while living a parallel life as a serial killer.

The first season was based on Jeff Lindsay’s novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter, before the show went on to give the characters a fresh life of their own.

Starring John Lithgow, Jennifer Carpenter, C.S. Lee, David Zaynes and James Remar alongside Hall, the show quickly became a fan favourite when it originally aired 20 years ago.

However, now it’s recently landed on Netflix, it has been introduced to a whole new audience.

People have taken to social media to share their views on the series.

One person wrote: “OMG!!!! Dexter is on Netflix. About to have the time of my life.”

“Best mate text me really excited to let me know Dexter is on Netflix. I’ve never watched it and she’s begging me to start it cos I’ll love it. That’s tonights tv sorted then,” another put.

While a third put: “Dexter is hands down one of the best TV shows ever created. And it’s now out on Netflix!”

Those who had already seen the series were also relishing their chance to rewatch the series.

“Yoooooooo Dexter is back on Netflix. Time for a billionth rewatch,” one person wrote.

“Oh my god my all time fav series ever is finally on Netflix???? Yeah I’m spending my Friday with a Dexter marathon,” a second penned.

“Dexter is in Netflix? Best believe I’ll rewatch the whole show,” a third wrote.
