Nu-folk banjo-botherers Mumford & Sons have claimed that they wouldn't join Tidal, even if they were asked. Which they weren't.

In an interview with the Daily Beast's Marlow Stern, the pretend tractor-boys greeted the very mention of Tidal with fart noises, which always precedes a sensible argument. The artist-owned streaming platform was recently launched by the likes of Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Arcade Fire and Chris Martin. Mumford & Sons were not invited. "We wouldn't have joined it anyway, even if they had asked. We don't want to be tribal," added chief neo-wurzel Marcus Mumford. So just to reiterate, Mumford & Sons are NOT interested in being part of that thing they weren't asked to be part of, OKAY? Good.
