Madonna’s fans voice real concern after singer posts yet another bizarre video

‘Please stop with these weird reels!’

It can’t be easy, but Madonna has done it yet again –  shocked fans with her increasingly erratic behaviour on social media.

This time last week the ‘Like A Virgin’ singer it was by posting topless pictures online. Days earlier, by seemingly doing poppers during a live interview. And let’s not forget her bizarre coming out reveal involving some pink underwear.

While Madonna has always been a master at remaining relevant – and talked about – some fans are calling time on her efforts to stay in the headlines. Seems Madonna is not so en vogue anymore.

On Thursday, the 64-year-old shared a video  with her 18.6 million followers on Instagram where she can be seen lip-syncing to rapper Baby Keem’s song, ‘vent’.

Staring directly into the camera lens, Madonna mouths the words: “Have you ever been punched in your mother****in’ face? What you say? Oh, you haven’t? Alright, wait, b***h.”

In the clip, the ‘Material Girl’ gets a bit ghetto and does her best to look menacing as she stares down the lens. Her hair is braided, her top sheer. The look completed with black bra, corset and jeans.

The clip has been viewed more than 8 million times and 21,000-odd comments have been left.

A lot of them, not that supportive.

“The Madonna I used to admire was the one on The Immaculate Collection……this woman has lost all of her mind. Time to retire,” one person wrote.

Another added: “You where my idol growing up. I used to love your music and creativity, please stop with these weird reels! [It’s] getting dark and concerning now.”

“I wish you could see yourself through the eyes of others. So sad what you’ve become,” another person commented.

A third wrote: “I’ve been a huge fan for most of my life, so it’s really sad (and disturbing) to watch the decline of Madonna. This might be funny for a kid’s [TikTok], but c’mon?! I think you need to stop hanging out with kids and surround yourself with other true icons… so you can remember who you used to be and who you really are. A legend… not an idiotic try hard.”

Other viewers, however, jumped to Madge’s defence, with one writing: “I love all these comments about ‘what happened to Madonna’… You mean the woman who has always pushed the envelop, challenged the status quo, who has been criticized her entire career for not fitting into a societally conditioned box.

“Y’all clearly don’t f***ing know Madonna. She’s an artist, not your f***ing Barbie Doll.”
