The episodes will focus on far-right groups who have "found new influence through gaming and streaming services", porn performers who have "embraced creator-controlled apps and called out alleged predators in the industry", and young men "in the rap world caught up in feuds and high-risk behaviour in the click-driven world of social media."
Theroux will as usual do a number of landmark interviews, including those involved in the Capitol Hill riot earlier this year. He will reportedly "question their opinions and explore how they are stepping out from the shadows of the web to influence events in the real world". "It is brilliant to see Louis return with three challenging and timely films engaging with lives lived at the extremes," said Patrick Holland, Director, Factual, Arts and Classical Music Television.
