Emmerdale Manpreet row erupts as Sadie plots to wreck Ruby and Caleb’s marriage

Sadie causes chaos at the Woolpack

Viewers can already watch the fallout in Sunday’s early-release instalment on ITVX and YouTube, before the episode airs on ITV1. 

The trouble begins at the Woolpack, where Sadie carefully engineers a situation that leaves Ruby at odds with Manpreet.

Her real motive is to help Joe Tate break up Ruby and Caleb, a plan she has been secretly working on with him. 

To set things in motion, Sadie first tells Caleb she will keep an eye on Ruby’s drinking, making it sound as though she is looking out for her.

However, she gives Ruby a very different version of events when they are alone, suggesting Caleb is trying to control her by telling her how much she can drink.

Sadie then turns her attention to Manpreet, who is at the pub alongside Lewis Barton and Vanessa Woodfield. 

She brings up Manpreet’s previous involvement in selling pictures online and uses the subject to question whether Ruby would ever do something similar.

The pointed remarks have the desired effect, and the conversation soon spirals into a drunken confrontation between Ruby and Manpreet. With other customers looking on, neither woman holds back.

The argument gives Sadie exactly what she needs: another way to create problems for Ruby while keeping her own involvement hidden. 

As her secret arrangement with Joe continues, the growing tension threatens to push Ruby and Caleb’s marriage closer to breaking point.
