Glasto chiefs get ‘death threats’ over Kanye West

Glastonfury....

Peace and love – it’s what Glastonbury Festival is all about.

Unless you invite Kanye West to the party.

The inclusion of the US rapper sent Glasto’s music cognoscenti into a wild frenzy – with 133,000 signing a petition to ‘stop the madness’.

So angry were festival hipsters that Glastonbury organisers were threatened with death if they didn’t pull the plug on Kanye.

Speaking about the backlash to The Times, Emily Eavis said: “It was not a pleasant world we unwrapped.

“I had death threats and stuff. It was just horrible. It was just crazy.

“It was getting out of control. We had Time magazine, all the American news channels saying they were going to come down. This incredible onslaught worldwide.

“It was quite upsetting because we were talking about something that was so exciting and interesting and fresh and brilliant for the festival.”

They’re going to love it when Kim Kardashian rocks up then aren’t they?

Oh, and if you were unlucky with Glasto tickets, then here are four bargain alternatives which we guarantee are 100% Kanye free.
