The first footage of Peaky Blinders Season 5 and Killing Eve Season 2 has arrived

Rory Cashin

We also get our first look at War Of The Worlds, Line Of Duty, and Dublin Murders.

The next twelve months are going to be pretty special for new shows.

Adding to this already building excitement, the BBC have dropped a teaser trailer for what to expect from them over the next year, and their line-up is staggeringly impressive.

In the trailer below we get to see new footage for returning favourites Luther (part of New Year’s Day’s huge output), Peaky Blinders, Killing Eve, and Poldark.

But there are also mentions of Dublin Murders (Tom Vaughn-Lawlor, Killian Scott, Moe Dunford, Sarah Greene and more in new crime drama), Gentleman Jack (period drama from the creator of Scott & Bailey), MotherFatherSon (Richard Gere and Ciaran Hinds in a new political thriller from the author of Child 44), Years & Years (Emma Thompson headlines family drama from the writer of A Very English Scandal), Baptiste (spin-off of hit thriller The Missing), The Victim (Scottish drama from the producer of The Man In The High Castle), and The War Of The Worlds (an all-star cast take the story back to its Edwardian roots) to name just a few.

We’ve slowly been getting little bits of info about the new series of Peaky Blinders – and in particular the big names that have been added to the cast.

Probably the biggest name is Sam Claflin, who you might recognise from The Hunger Games and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Another notable addition is Neil Maskell, who starred in the brilliantly dark British horror Kill List and the great Channel 4 sci-fi show Utopia, as well as appearing in The Football Factory.

Other names include Brian Gleeson (the son of Brendan Gleeson), and Kate Dickie, who played Lysa Arryn in Game of Thrones.
