As the actors strike has finally come to an end, Ryan Reynolds has revealed some huge news for Deadpool fans.
Deadpool, which is set to resume production in the imminent future, has had a massively positive update with Deadline reporting that Deadpool already had 50% of its content done and dusted before filming was shut down.
They added that filming will continue as early as this week.
As if that wasn't big enough news, Ryan Reynolds has also issued an update.
Taking to X, Reynolds wrote: "Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares."
Reynolds concluded his tweet, writing: "Coming with the movie, Summer 2024."
Initially it was reported that Deadpool 3 could've been pushed back further into 2024 once filming has finally finished, however Reynolds update gives masses of hope to those who are desperate to cast their eyes upon the final product.
It's also expected that rumours and spoilers will begin spiralling into the ethers of social media now that production is set to resume anytime in the next few weeks.
As far as the plots concerned, all we know so far is that Hugh Jackman will be returning as Wolverine and that the movie will take place before the feral X-Man's death in Logan.
It's also been confirmed that time travel will feature in the third film.
Honestly, this can't come quick enough.
