In August this year, it will be 30 years since the popular teen sitcom aired on NBC. Yep, people of a certain age will be feeling ancient now.
That said, we’re supremely confident that A.C Slater still hasn’t lost a wrestling match for the Bayside Tigers and that Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) still gets called ‘preppy’ wherever he goes.
To celebrate three decades of the beloved show, some of the original cast members reunited over the weekend and if you’re curious what 30 years of friendship looks like, here’s the proof.
The photos show Mario Lopez (A.C Slater), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) along with their spouses.
Not all of the cast are on familiar terms because the show’s resident geek, Dustin ‘Screech’ Diamond, has had various run-ins with the law and he also wrote a tell-all book in which he made some extremely strong allegations against his co-stars.
Anyway, as far as the rest of them are concerned, it’s mad how they all look the same as they did 30 years ago. We’re calling witchcraft.
We don’t remember Zack Morris rocking that glorious beard in his school years but it’s fair to say that time has been kind to them.
All that’s missing is Lisa Turtle and Mr. Belding.
