At one point a couple of weeks ago, it appeared Carlo Ancelotti had a genuine chance of replacing Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool manager.
Since then, some German bloke has quietly assumed the role, leaving Mr. Ancelotti with plenty of time on his stands.
But according to various reports in Italy the former AC Milan boss may have got himself a job… and it’s not what you’d expect.
Apparently, he’s landed a minor role as a doctor in the the next Star Trek film called ‘Star Trek Beyond’
Yes, really.

According to the report, Anceoltti will star in the film after landing the part thanks to his friendship with Zoe Saldana who plays Lieutenant Uhura.
