Beyonce gets Cardiff crowd to sing Love on Top

Her face says it all

Beyoncé was left stunned by the good people of Cardiff after asking them to sing along to Love On Top during her performance in the Welsh capital.

The pop queen is currently touring the UK with her Renaissance tour, and kicked the whole thing off in Wales on Wednesday when she performed at the Principality Stadium.

With one of the biggest catalogues of pop bangers in all of music, the show is by all accounts a tour de force from start to finish.

But one of her most-loved songs, Love On Top, is also one of the most difficult for us mere mortals to sing along with, as Queen B hits notes that most of us can only dream of reaching.

That didn’t stop the crowd in Cardiff giving it a damn good go though when asked to by Beyoncé, and it looks like she was pretty impressed by their efforts.

When the singer pointed the mic towards the crowd for the song’s chorus, they chanted it back in perfect unison.

The moment has been shared on TikTok, where it’s racked up more than 400k likes and 2.7m views.

Other clips of the moment were shared on Twitter, whilst those who had been in the crowd were quick to share how incredible the moment was.

One person wrote:  “Fave part of Beyonce live @ Cardiff was seeing how shook she was when she asked the audience to help her do love on top acapella and everyone served the most perfect vocals, key changes and harmonies in perfect tune.”

A second wrote: “It was quite the moment !!! What a concert !!! Just got home still buzzing.”

A third tweeted: “The moment Beyoncé realises that she’s performing in the true land of song.. Vocals on point Cardiff.”

Beyoncé has for five more shows in the UK before she takes her tour around the world, but the crowds at these shows now all have a standard to live up when they’re asked to singalong.

Maybe start practicing now guys.
