"We feel European but we just can't risk the uncertainty"
For most British businesses, the idea of expansion immediately leads into ideas of Europe. As the United Kingdom's closest trading partner, the European Union has for decades been a natural in the growth of domestic business.
Lately, though, a little thing called Brexit - that generation defining economic and political event that has dominated our very minds for the past three and a half years - has changed the way that British businesses think about their future.
We travelled down to Telford, in that area of the country which people cannot decide is in the Midlands or the North, to meet the owner of confectionary business Flower and White.
The company is expanding, and will continue to do so, but due to recent events, Europe is not on their horizon.
