That might be a bit much
David Spade thinks Kate Middleton should have “slapped” Prince Louis at the Platinum Jubilee to distract people from the Will Smith slap “heard around the world.”
Appearing on a recent episode of “Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson”, the Grown-Ups actor spoke on the viral moment Prince Louis behaved, well, like his age at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
“Her kid, who’s like 3, is being kind of a d–k, you know, making faces and telling her to shut up and everything,” the comedian told Tyson. “I thought, it would help Chris so much if she slapped the kid.”
Essentially, the 58-year-old thinks the royal slap would’ve received considerably more attention and taken the spotlight off of Rock, 57.
Meghan Markle would be damned to hell if Archie did this. No doubt Media would claim his ‘Black’ ancestry makes him ill-behaved & remind all that they descended from ‘cotton slaves’
None would think it ‘cute’ ‘funny’ or give her parenting the benefit of doubt as they have Kate. https://t.co/imROq5pqId

“He would love to get that off the books. To just have Kate go *makes slapping sounds*… even backhand I’d be fine with,” he added.
Spade was one of the few to come immediately to Rock’s defence after he joked that Jada Pinkett Smith resembled “GI Jane.”
“Why would you phrase this as ‘a GI Jane joke?’ instead of ‘a joke about a woman with alopecia’?” questioned one Twitter user, to which Spade replied, “Because comedians don’t have a medical chart for everyone in the audience.”
Smith has since apologised for the slap, saying: “I will say to you, Chris, I apologise to you. My behavior was unacceptable, and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.”
