All before he turns 18!
Luke Littler thrashed Martin Lukeman in the final of the Grand Slam of Darts last night.
The 17-year-old went two legs down before winning 15 in a row in a dominant display before eventually winning 16-3.
Earlier in the day, Littler had kept fans entertained as he came back from 13-9 down to beat Gary Anderson 16-15.
On his way to victory in the final Littler hit 12 180s to Lukeman’s one and set a record for throwing 60 180s throughout the tournament.
He concluded the match with a three-dart average of 107.08 and prize money of £150,000 in his first appearance at the tournament.
It means that Littler has now won more than £1 million in prize money before his 18th birthday.
The Grand Slam victory marks Littler’s first major ranking title. Littler has climbed to fifth place in the PDC world rankings.
He has already won the Premier League and the World Series Finals in his debut year.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Sunday’s final he said: “I’m so glad to win it. I’ve been playing well all week, it’s been a long week but it’s paid off. I’m so happy to win this.
“I’ve always got to have my scoring power with me. No matter who I play, it’s got to be there, I can’t afford to drop off it in any legs. I had a slow start but I kicked on from there.
“I knew coming into the tournament that if I got my hands on the trophy, which was a long way away, I’d be up to number five in the world.
“I’m at number five in the space of 10 months, there are two more ranking tournaments to go, so hopefully I can get a bit higher than number five.”
Littler made waves in the sport after reaching the final of the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace at the start of the year when he was just 16, narrowly losing to Luke Humphries.
However, despite the loss he took home £200,000 as runner-up and captured the hearts of the nation, bringing a new audience to Darts.
