Video footage caught Antoine Griezmann aiming an x-rated insult towards Inter Milan's Alexis Sanchez during Atletico Madrid's penalty shoot-out win on Wednesday.
Diego Simeone's side were victorious in the Champions League last 16 tie after goals from Griezmann and Memphis Depay cancelled out Inter's opening goal to take the game to extra time.
Neither side could be settled in the extra 30 minutes, leaving the game to be decided via the means of a shoot-out.
It was Atleti who won the decider, beating Inter on penalties as Sanchez, Davy Klassen and Lautaro Martinez missed from 12 yards out.
Footage has since shown Griezmann reacting to Sanchez's failed effort and according to Movistar, turned to Rodrigo de Paul and said: He [Sanchez] is s***, the Chilean is s***!"

The Frenchman's strike in the first half of the Spanish side's win moved him joint-top of the Champions League scoring charts alongside Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland with six goals.
Goalkeeper Jan Oblak was the hero of the penalty win, saving two efforts but said his success was largely down to luck.
"In the end it's a bit about luck in the shootout. Because you have to choose the correct side and you have to make the stop. If the player takes the kick perfectly, it's impossible to stop it," he said.
"Luckily, I was able to make the saves. What matters is the victory and that we made it to the quarter-finals."
