It's happened. It's finished (kind of). The United Kingdom is exiting the European Union, three and a half years after the 2016 referendum.
Brexiteers travelled to Parliament Square in their droves, draped in Union Jacks and dripping in national pride, to mark B Day. As the clock ticked down, there were joyful cheers, and even a rendition of God Save the Queen.
One attendee told JOE that "We owe Nigel Farage a lot, the Queen needs to knight him."
Others travelled up from all corners of the country, "to celebrate victory, democracy," and the fact that we would "no longer have our trousers pulled down by the EU."
