Full list of 200 MPs set to lose their seat under current polling projections

Matt Hancock, Priti Patel and Michael Gove are all set to be ousted, along with Boris Johnson!

The polls have been less than kind to the Tories of late.

With mini-Budget turmoil fresh in the minds of many voters, Labour has seen its popularity soar as people abandon Liz Truss’s party, just three years after the landslide election of 2019.

A poll from YouGov published on Tuesday morning (October 18) found that Truss’ net favourability had plummeted even further, to an incredible -70.

This is a 14 point drop since last week, when Kwasi Kwarteng was still chancellor and Jeremy Hunt hadn’t yet put the Prime Minister’s entire economic philosophy through a shredder.

For context, her leadership rival Rishi Sunak has a net favourability rating of -18, and Keir Starmer has a score of -5.

Journalist Owen Jones then took to Twitter to point out a far more embarrassing comparison – although that one is tricky to quantify.

On the national stage, an MRP poll conducted by the Trades Union Congress with Opinium has predicted a  whopping 411-seat Labour landslide in a General Election.

Political blog Guido has dug through the data to put the names to each constituency that switched hands in the poll.

Amongst the most notable losses to the Tory backbenches are Matt Hancock, Priti Patel, Michael Gove, Dominic Raab, Grant Shapps, Douglas Ross and Iain Duncan Smith.

The Conservatives also lose most of their inroads to the “red wall” including Lee Anderson, Dehenna Davison and Brendan Clarke-Smith.

Boris Johnson will lose his seat, while less surprisingly, so will Chris Pincher, Rob Roberts and Neale Hanvey.
