A man has been stabbed with a kitchen knife on a busy London street
A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after he was stabbed in the neck with a kitchen knife outside Ruislip Cineworld, in west London.
Paramedics were called to the horrific scene on Victoria Road just after 9pm on Tuesday May 15.
A Met Police spokeswoman confirmed: "Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance are in attendance.
"A male believed to be in his 20s has been taken to hospital in a critical condition."
There have been no arrests and witnesses are asked to call 101.
Stabbings in London have risen by 23 per cent on last year and are at their highest level for more than half a decade.
Since January 1, 62 people have been killed by violent crime in the capital.
