First they started sending Facebook friend requests, then they followed you on Twitter...and now Snapchat is apparently in your parents' sights as they desperately try to get down with the kids. With 25% of teenagers jumping ship from Facebook between 2011 and 2014, it was thought that Snapchat was the new home for the younger generation.
But new figures suggest you could soon be receiving snaps from your mum and dad, as the app's appeal with older users increases.
In 2015, Snapchat's 25 to 34-year-old user base went up by 103%, with its 35+ demographic growing by 84%.
With a marketing campaign to target more, erm, 'mature' users, it could be the end of the app as we know it. Still, it'll take them forever to work out how to add you...Explore more on these topics:
