WATCH: Donald Trump appears to shove prime minister out of the way at NATO summit

Looks like someone was keen to get to the front of the picture

Donald Trump is not one for subtlety.

His style is more brash, more muscle than mind. America elected him President because they thought he would get things done, with none of the messing around that comes with due process or the Constitution.

It seems that Trump put his policy of ‘America First’ into practice during a meeting of NATO leaders yesterday. Caught on video, Trump appears to shove Montenegro’s Prime Minister Dusko Markovic to one side in order to get to the front of the group.

It sure as hell looks like it.

He then adjusts his jacket in the way that a man who just shoved another world leader out of the way without a second’s hesitation would.

This came shortly following a meeting with newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron in which the two locked into an extraordinary handshake, with Macron squeezing Trump’s hand so hard it nearly snaps in two.

At the summit, Trump told the European members of NATO that “massive amounts of money” were owed, criticising the lack of spending on defence from other allied nations.
