This beer-swigging duck in a bow tie brawled with a dog after pub drinking session

A duck walks into a bar....

It sounds like some joke your granddad would tell you, but stick with us. This duck isn't your ordinary duck - it wears a bow tie and swigs ale. His name is Star and he's a famous face around the pubs and clubs of Devon, presumably for his fashion sense and predilection for the odd pint. But he wound up in a bit of trouble after his latest drinking session at the Old Courthouse Inn, Devon, owner Barrie Hayman told the Cheddar Valley Gazette. https://twitter.com/RussellLindsey1/status/653877315387195392 When the Indian Runner duck got home he got into a Mexican stand-off with Barrie's dog Meggie, before the dog and the duck brawled on the floor. "Star pushed his luck too far and Meggie snapped - splitting Star's bottom beak right down the middle," said Barrie. Star, who has his own Facebook page, survived the scrap after an emergency trip to the vets, but he might be forced to lay off the booze for a while.
