The vehicle dropped out of the sky and crashed in the middle of traffic, before skidding off towards the shoulder and leaving a trail of burning jet fuel behind, New York Post reports. It then crashed into a truck with three people inside, but they were thankfully left unharmed.
In a statement on social media the same day, Corona Fire Department confirmed that the two people who were in the plane managed to escape the wreckage.

The pilot claimed to have made an emergency landing because the plane's engine failed as it headed towards Corona Municipal Airport to land, California Highway Patrol (CHP) said.
Speaking to local TV station KTLA, CHP's Capt Levi Miller: “[We’re] very fortunate today that the traffic was light, and the pilot appears to have made some good landing navigation that avoided what could have been a very bad tragedy.”
Firefighters from Corona Fire Department rushed to the scene to put the plane out.
