Noel Gallagher calls Adele ‘f***ing awful and offensive’ in huge rant

‘I find the whole thing offensive’

No matter what you think about the Gallagher brothers, we can all agree on one thing: they love to talk.

Noel in particular has never been one to shy away from voicing his opinion, particularly when it comes to other figures in the music industry.

Whether it’s describing Lewis Capaldi as ‘Chewbacca’, labelling Matty Healy a “slack-jawed f***wit”, or branding Sam Smith a “f***ing idiot,” Noel loves to start a feud.

Now, he’s turned his attention to Adele, calling her “f***ing awful.”

During an appearance on the Matt Morgan podcast, he aimed both barrels at the 16-time Grammy-winning artist.

Despite Adele being one of the world’s best selling artists, having sold 70 million albums across the globe, Noel described her music as “offensive,” the Mirror reports.

When asked if he was a fan of her songs – three of which have got to Number One in the UK – the former Oasis guitarist said: “F**k off, f***ing hell. Name one?”

Rolling in the Deep? Someone Like You? Hello? Skyfall? Easy On Me? Any of those ringing any bells, Noel?

He continued: “They’re f***ing s**t. It’s f***ing awful. It’s f***ing Cilla Black. I find it and that whole thing offensive.”

The 56-year-old then suggested that the only way Adele’s music could improve would be if he wrote songs for her.

Noel said: “If I fall out of love with touring, I could see myself just sitting at home writing songs and sending them to my publishers. I might in the future.

“I’ll be saying, ‘Get Adele to sing that. Don’t call until she’s done the guide vocal’. ‘I want Lewis Capaldi to murder this song, I want him to sit on it from a great height. Make me rich’.”

Good luck with selling that idea.

As she continues her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, it’s unlikely that Adele will be too fussed by Noel’s comments, and with five Number One albums under her belt, it looks like she’s doing just fine without his songwriting tips.
