Police have declared a critical incident in Swansea after a car was shot at and damaged by gunfire.
The public should not share rumours but those who witnessed the incident should get in contact, officers said.
The incident occurred on Friday on the A48 Clase Road in the Morriston area, where a vehicle “sustained damage consistent with a firearms discharge”.
Debris was scattered along the road and there appeared to be damage to the vehicle’s right hand door.
According to police, one person had minor injuries but they weren't currently aware of any serious injuries or fatalities.
Police have arrested a man, 41, on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of affray.
According to South Wales Police, both were from Llansamlet.
“A policing presence will be visible in the area whilst this investigation is ongoing”, Chief Superintendent Stephen Jones said.
