There is major disruption at multiple UK airports this morning following Storm Goretti making landfall yesterday afternoon.
The country was battered across its four corners with red, amber and yellow warnings for wind, rain, snow and ice - and Goretti delivered.
The South West and Midlands were two of the hardest hit areas, with 99mph winds sweeping through Cornwall, while the Midlands experienced heavy snowfall.
Goretti has left some 57,000 properties across the country without power, and even closed airports overnight and into the early hours of Friday.
Birmingham Airport was forced to close it runway at around 9pm last night, with the airport's X account just posting that the runway "has reopened on a reduced basis".
Birmingham is the country's seventh largest airport.
Meanwhile, down the road near Nottingham, East Midlands Airport was also forced to close its runway in the early hours of the morning.
It has since reopened, but the airport warned of flight delays.
East Midlands is the country's twelfth busiest airport and is the country's busiest pure cargo hub.
Elsewhere, other transport services across the country have been affected, including rail, road and boat.

Meanwhile a section of the M1 has been closed after a lorry overturned between junction 28 Mansfield and junction 29 Chesterfield.
Ferries from Dover to France have also been affected.
Ferry Operator DFDS is warning those travelling between Dover and France today to expect disruption.

It advises passengers to "please check-in as normal, we will transfer all passengers onto the first available sailing on arrival."
