Huge tornado storms next to Love Island villa, flood warning for Majorca issued

A tornado has been filmed off the coast of Majorca, the location of ITV series Love Island. The huge waterspout was filmed yesterday by a local in the town of Banyalbufar on the west side of the Spanish holiday island. Authorities have issued a flood alert and there is a forecast for intense rainfall. The State Meteorogical Agency warned that the island could receive up to one and a half inches of rain in an hour. A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex that occurs over a body of water, usually appearing as a funnel-shaped cloud, mostly starting in the tropics and subtropical areas.
