Interactive: Which football clubs are top of the Twitter Premier League?

Eat, sleep, tweet football...

Ben Kenyon

The Premier League title race hasn’t exactly been a close-fought thing this year.

But the battle to be top of the Twitter league for England’s biggest clubs is far more interesting.

Who is winning between the big four of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea (sorry, Manchester City) for Twitter followers around the world?

Well, the social media giant has come up with a cool interactive map to show exactly where followers are based for each club’s official Twitter account.

It looks like the Gunners rule northern Europe and the US, while Chelsea are bossing southern Europe and South America.

Manchester United are big in India, southern Africa and parts of the US with Liverpool top dogs in the UK and Scandanavia.

Have a look for your team…
