The fact-finding stage of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry has begun and reports from five experts are being examined

Pictures were released today as the official inquiry moves on to what caused the fire. By way of a warning, the images are distressing. In one report University of Dundee Professor Niamh Daeid said that the fire started "in or around the tall fridge freezer." However it does not go as far as to explicitly state that it was the exact cause. Photographs show the extent of the damage in flat 16. A "culture of non-compliance" at Grenfell Tower was also criticised today. All pictures credit: Grenfell Tower Inquiry
