This Dutch driver might have been watching too many Hollywood films.
You know the ones where there's a ludicrous car chase and the hero jumps the bridge and makes a perfect landing.

But it turns out Hollywood has horribly lied to us.
The 56-year-old Dutch motorist went for the big jump, but fell spectacularly short and ended up in the briny.
How he only escaped with broken ribs, we'll never know.
Next time you're thinking of going all James Bond at a bridge crossing, just don't. Remember this guy.
