The former Manchester United man wore all black as he waited to see the Queen lying in state
David Beckham has been spotted among thousands of mourners queueing to see the Queen lying in state.
The former Manchester United and England midfielder had reportedly been queueing for 12 hours by 2pm this afternoon when he spoke to Sky News.
He said he was there to celebrate Britain's "special" Queen.

Despite his England service and OBE, he doesn't appear to have been given any special treatment or queue-jumping abilities on the day.
He reportedly joined the queue at 2am and was still waiting to see the coffin at 2pm this afternoon.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that MPs have been given permission to skip the queue in order to see the Queen lying in state.
Staffers, on the other hand, have been told to wait like everybody else, causing many grievances in the House of Commons.
