Apple has been forced to recall plug adaptors worldwide

If you bought any Apple travel or adaptor products between 2003 and 2015, you might want to read this.

The company has been forced to recall some of its adaptors because of a “risk of electrical shock”. For anyone who was taking a trip to continental Europe and decided to buy an Apple adaptor for your iPad, iPod or iPhone, you’re now being advised to set the plug aside and send it back to the manufacturer. According to Apple, the power adaptors feature a two-prong plug and were sold in Europe, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand and South Korea. (image via Apple) If you want to check if your adaptor has been affected, Apple has advised customers to check the inside slot where it attacked to the main Apple power adaptor. (Image via Apple) If your adaptor has either four, five or no characters on the inside, it may be faulty and should be returned.
