Andrew Tate mocked after launching ‘BRUV Party’ in hopes of becoming UK Prime Minister

The BRUV party’s charter has been labelled a ‘mix of North Korea and homoeroticism’

Andrew Tate has been ridiculed after launching the ‘BRUV Party’ as part of his apparent hopes of becoming UK Prime Minister.

It’s been a chaotic few days of politics to start 2025, with Elon Musk taking aim at Keir Starmer’s government, calling for Tommy Robinson to be released from prison, and demanding Nigel Farage is replaced as Reform leader just hours after Farage had voiced his admiration for the billionaire.

Now, misogynistic online personality Andrew Tate has set up the BRUV Party as part of his intentions to “run for prime minister” in the UK.

BRUV stands for Britain Restoring Underlying Values, and aims to “restore underlying values back to Britain.” Some of its bizarre policies include introducing a “24/7 live broadcast of knife crime offenders serving solitary confinement” and making the BBC get all its topics from X.

In terms of economic policies, Tate – who is awaiting trial on rape and human trafficking charges in Romania, and is wanted in the UK to face allegations of sexual assault – says the BRUV Party will purchase a “national Bitcoin reserve” for Britain.

Following the announcement, Tate was roundly ridiculed.

On X, one person said the BRUV party’s charter, which includes calls for more wrestling, more guns and more patriotic signage on streets, was an “interesting mix of North Korea and homeeroticism.”

Someone else said the BRUV party was the “very worst idea in the history of British politics,” with another labelling Tate the “biggest loser on the planet.”

Meanwhile, others pointed out that it is not possible to ‘run for prime minister’ because of the UK’s parliamentary system.

One person wrote: “There’s literally dozens of reasons why this won’t happen, not least of them being that you don’t ’run for Prime Minister’ in the UK.”

The London Economic reports that the BRUV party is not registered with the electoral commission, whilst some have claimed the website for the party is illegal in the EU and UK because it has “no privacy policy, no data collection policy and no statement at all about which legal entity is collecting your signup data for what purpose.”

And in the incredibly unlikely scenario the BRUV party does end up standing in a general election, Tate will face a stiff challenge from one of the UK’s political behemoths, Count Binface.

The count posted on X: “I beat Britain First. I’ll gladly beat Andrew Tate second.”

Tate was charged with rape, human trafficking and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women in June 2023 in Romania. His brother Tristan and two female associates were also charged.

They all deny the allegations.

The brothers were released from house arrest in August 2023, but still face restrictions on their movements.

The Tates are also facing extradition to the UK, where they are wanted in as part of an investigation into allegations of rape and human trafficking. They will be extradited to the UK once the trial in Romania has concluded.

Separate allegations emerged in May 2024 when lawyers for four women who claim they were assaulted by Tate and his brother said they were bringing a civil case against him at the High Court in the UK for “damages for injuries they suffered as a result”.

A representative for the Tate brothers said in response that they “unequivocally deny all allegations”.

Devon and Cornwall Police also brought forward a civil case in July 2024, accusing the brothers of failing to pay any tax on £21m of revenue from their online businesses, including online “wealth creation” platform Hustlers’ University.
