The lineup for this festival in Belgium is frighteningly good

Anyone fancy a road trip?

Christ, this looks amazing.

If you happen to be spending a lazy Sunday in front of your laptop, dreaming about a summer holiday that’s spent listening to some great tunes and good beer, Rock Werchter in Belgium is just the thing for you.

While every music fan will gravitate towards their own tastes and lineup, the acts that will be playing in Belgium from 29 June – 2 July 2017 are superb.

How does a lineup of Alt-J, Arcade Fire, Blink 182, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park, Radiohead, The Chainsmokers, James Blake, Lorde, Soulwax, Rag’n’BoneMan, Glass Animals, System of a Down and much, much more sound to you?

To us, it’s f**king fantastic and they still have more artists to add.

The festival takes place from 29 June – 2 July, and while it’s a bit more expensive than some of the cheaper alternatives that you might find around Europe, it does have a remarkably strong history of providing a stunning lineup that’s well worth the £205.

According to the Rock Werchter website, a combi festival ticket (29 June > 2 July) is still available, including service costs and a mobility contribution. Trust us, given the bands that have played over the years, it’s a decent investment.

The 2017 billing is already shaping up to be excellent – take a look at what’s on the lineup so far –  but it has a lot to live up to.
