Richard Swift, the touring bass guitarist of the Black Keys and The Shins has died at the age of 41, it has been confirmed. The news was announced via a Facebook post, it read: "And all the angels sing 'Que Sera Sera' Richard Ochoa Swift March 16, 1977 - July 3, 2018." The musician was admitted to hospital last month with a life threatening condition that has yet to be disclosed. The Black Keys singer Dan Auerbach responded to the news by sharing a picture of him with Swift. Captioning the image: "Today the world lost one of the most talented musicians I know. He's now with his Mom and Sister."
