Fleetwood Mac will be on tour next summer

Paul Moore

Not ‘Rumours’, fact.

Fleetwood Mac will be going on tour next year as revealed by Christine McVie  on The One Show.

“We’re going to start rehearsing in March, next year. The tour is around June. It will be global,” she said.

McVie stated that a 2018 tour with the full mid ’70s Fleetwood Mac lineup is definitely much on the cards.

At the present moment, Fleetwood Mac are already due to play festivals in L.A. and New York this summer, but at the moment they have no other live shows announced.

Still though, this can only be good news for fans of the band, who formed back in 1967. They released their first album ‘Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac’ in 1968 and have had numerous line up changes over the years.

Their last tour was in 2014-2015, On With The Show world tour, which included two nights at London’s O2 Arena in May 2015.

Buckingham and McVie are touring their own collaboration this summer, while Stevie Nicks will be playing at London’s Hyde Park on July 9 with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
