This is probably the first time you’ve ever seen a bulldozer battle royale

Fight!

It must be a tough one to swallow for Michael Bay, knowing that a bulldozer fight between rival construction workers possibly has more entertainment value than he achieved in four Transformers movies.

The epic clash of metal took place in the northern Chinese city of Hebei, and starts with two vehicles angrily ramming one another, which a passer-by begins to film on their phone.

There are no passive bulldozers on this patch, though, and very quickly it escalates into a kind of industrial battle royale, with at least six of the huge tractors trading heavy blows.

At one point, one of the bulldozers was pushed into its side, which prompted another to enter the frame and attempt to lift its fallen comrade upright again. Unfortunately, the heroic gesture failed, but the driver had already managed to crawl out of the top unscathed.

Luckily there have been no reported injuries so far, though local officials have confirmed that the carnage was down to a territorial dispute between competing firms.

The YouTube video of the fight has been viewed nearly 100,000 times already, which probably isn’t that surprising: it’s not every day that you see half a dozen bulldozers randomly initiate their own destruction derby.
