Staffies are the UK’s favourite dog breed!

Our doggos are a huge part of our lives. Ask any dog owner what their favourite breed is, and they will undoubtedly name the one they currently have curled up next to them. But a collaboration between TeamDogs and Pooch and Mutt has revealed the UK’s favourite dog breed.

Coming in at the number one spot is surprisingly Staffordshire Bull Terriers, who beat out the likes of Black Labs, German Shepherds, and Greyhounds.

The competition started three weeks ago with 47 breeds, with the bottom ten breeds each week being sent to the dog house. Other dog breeds were added after people felt they needed recognition, these included Dobermanns, Samoyeds, Great Danes, Bedlington Terriers and Akitas.

But despite the new additions, the Staffie still came out victorious. Here are the top 10:
