Prince Andrew ‘should be next target’ for prosecutors after Ghislaine Maxwell jailed, lawyers say

'If he did nothing wrong, then come forward and tell the full story to the FBI, not the media'

Lawyers speaking after Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking offences have suggested that Prince Andrew could be next when it comes to prosecuting those associated with Jeffrey Epstein. Following the 60-year-old former socialite's conviction yesterday, attorney Spencer Kuvin told the Mirror that the Duke of York could very well be the "next target" as prosecutors look to sweep up the rest of Epstein's sex trafficking ring. https://twitter.com/JOE_co_uk/status/1541854129827487746?s=20&t=HUk9mEu4u66gE7e7l8SU9A Kuvin, who represents several of Epstein and Maxwell’s victims, said “Obviously, Andrew is one of the targets they will be looking into", adding that "he should definitely be concerned, but if he did nothing wrong, then come forward and tell the full story to the FBI, not the media.” Andrew maintains that the numerous allegations of sexual assault and misconduct levelled against him are false, even despite paying accuser Virginia Giuffre £12m in a settlement - a woman he claims he's never met. Giuffre was one of several witnesses and victims that spoke at Maxwell's sentencing on Tuesday, stating that Epstein's "partner in crime" was complicit in "opening the door to hell". Presiding Judge Alison Nathan stated: “Ms Maxwell is not being punished as a proxy of Epstein, but rather for her role in the criminal conduct. She participated in some of the abuse. Her conduct was heinous and predatory.” Kuvin went on to name a number of other potential targets for the prosecution, whose identities are yet to be released, one of which included another Briton.
