Work can be the death of you…
Many of those annoying lifestyle-gurus will tell you that a healthy lifestyle involves finding that magical balance between work and play, 10% at the office and 90% at the bar is fine by us, but any job can be detrimental to your health.
We imagine that there aren’t many people in the world that work as lion tamers, international spies or human wrecking-balls, hence their exclusion from the list.
We’re not surprised to see that the construction industry ranks very highly here but it’s interesting to learn that 8.8% of deaths at work were from those people who work in wholesale and retail trade.
Maybe these deaths happened after a stampede for the January sales? Those things can be intense.
