Kim Kardashian's strict rules for flying on her $150 million private jet

‘Have you seen the cashmere seats?’

Kim Kardashian has some pretty tight rules and regulations for anyone who wants to take a trip on her private jet, which even members of her family must adhere to.

She revealed how much she cares for the $150 million private jet, named Kim Air, on Thursday’s (29 September) episode of The Kardashians.

In the episode, she was chatting to her sister Kendall Jenner before travelling to Milan for a Prada fashion show, when Kendall mentioned she was going to get a spray tan before the flight.

And Kim was not best pleased about this.

“A spray tan before my flight?” she asked.

“No, it’s a three-hour one so I sit in it for three hours and then shower it off,” Jenner explained.

But the KKW Beauty founder quickly nipped this idea in the bud as she explained the cream interior on her jet was too nice to risk staining.

“Have you seen the cashmere seats?,” she asked.

“You cannot get your spray tan on my cashmere seats.”

Moving on, Kim told her sister to let her known if she wants “any snacks because I have, like, waffles and I have a freezer so, like, I live it up on there.”

But Kylie pointed out the silliness of Kim’s suggestion to get pasta as the in-flight meal, saying: “We’re going to be in f**king Italy. We’re not going to eat pasta before we go.”

Another rule that Kim has for those given the honour of boarding her plane is that no shoes are allowed on board, so passengers must wear slippers from her Skims brand.

She purchased the aircraft in 2021, but it then took a year for it to be designed to her liking.

According to TMZ, the reality TV star initially paid more than $95 million for the jet, but after the interior design and alterations, the total cost came to around $150 million.

The cream-coloured interior, cashmere finishes and leather seats were apparently incorporated into the jet to match the same style as her home.

The jet is the same model owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Kardashian had designed the interior along with Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez.
