The first details about GTA VI have leaked

The same YouTube channel that leaked Dark Souls III claims to know the release date and location of the next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise

We need to apply the caveat, though, before getting into this that Rockstar have a recurring habit of delaying, prevaricating and changing their minds about this sort of thing - see Red Dead Redemption 2. That being said, the first rumours about GTA VI have started to circulate. They indicate the game will be released in 2022, set in Vice City and have a female lead character. https://youtu.be/AYqmedgub8s The source of the rumours, YouTube channel The Know, has form having successfully leaked screenshots from Dark Souls III in the past. They said their GTA exclusive came from "an inside source" that wanted to remain anonymous. Rockstar has not released any official information about the game. The first hint came from Rockstar President Leslie Benzies who said: “We don’t know what GTA 6 will be, but we’ve got some ideas." GTA V was released in 2013 and GTA Online is currently booming. Rockstar also has the small matter of actually releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 - it's unlikely we'll hear anything from them regarding the new GTA until that's out the way.
