The world’s most expensive bottle of vodka has been stolen

Paul Moore

Know any suspects?

If you don’t remember, it didn’t happen. While plenty of people abide by the vodka drinkers code, police in Copenhagen are looking for people with a good memory to help them find the ‘world’s most expensive’ bottle of vodka.

Things hit the rocks after the Russo-Baltique bottle was given on loan to a Danish collector. While on exhibition at Café 33 bar, some nefarious individual took their shot at criminality by swiping the bottle that’s valued at nearly £1million.

Bar owner Brian Ingberg told TV2 Lorry: ‘I had loaned [the bottle] from Russia from something called the Dartz Factory, which makes the world’s most expensive cars and vodka. It has been part of my collection for six months, but not anymore.

Why is this particular bottle of vodka so expensive?

Well, it’s made with 3kg of gold, 3kg of silver and has a diamond encrusted cap- that’s a collective value of $1.3million (£961,233).

Various CCTV images of the thieves have been circulated and a “reward is given to those who can help find them. There is only one bottle in the whole world.”

If anyone manages to catch the culprits, we imagine a free swig is also in order.
