Reaction to the sandwich has been divided, with some accusing the brand of piggybacking on the LGBT cause to profit from the 'pink pound' whilst others were unhappy with the inclusion of bacon rather than a vegetarian alternative for 'B'.
In contrast, there were many that praised the supermarket for supporting the movement and raising awareness.
