‘They’re going like hotcakes’

Everyone’s favourite donut shop, Krispy Kreme, have announced that they’re giving out 60,000 free donuts around the world today (Monday November 13) to celebrate World Kindness Day.

For those of you joining us from the UK, that means you can get your hands on an original glazed sharer dozen for free. And to get them it’s incredibly easy.

You’ve just got to go into any participating store and ask for the World Kindness Day offer.

There’s no hidden fees or conditions so you don’t need to spend a penny in store to get the freebie.

However, those looking to get their hands on some sugary goodness will need to be quick, as once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, said: “World Kindness Day is an opportunity to make a positive difference by being generous – from paying it forward to meaningfully connecting with each other.

“Simple gestures of caring and thanks, including sharing a sweet treat, is a great way to do that.

“We hope giving away Original Glazed Dozens will inspire millions of small acts of kindness.”

Oh, it’s also worth noting that the offer is only available on Original Glazed Doughnuts though, the Hot Originals are excluded.
