Heinz have upset some loyal customers
Customers are said to be ‘gutted’ after Heinz announced it was discontinuing one of its fan-favourite products.
Baked beans are a staple of most peoples’ diets in England, whether you eat them with your full English breakfast, on toast or in a jacket potato.
This week, fans were devastated to learn that Heinz’s organic range of baked beans has officially been pulled from production.
The company pointed to ‘culinary trends’ as the reason behind the decision to axe the product.
One user took to X: “Why on earth can I not buy Heinz organic baked beans any more? They were the best organic beans on the market!”
They added: “I wish they could be brought back. Online I can buy them for £5.20 a tin!”
The Kraft Heinz Company responded to the post confirming the news that the product had been discontinued.
Previously, a Heinz spokesperson said: “At Heinz we’re focused on innovating to meet changing culinary trends and tastes and sometimes that means making small changes to our portfolio.
“These are always considered with the consumer in mind.”
Fans flocked to social media to make their feelings known with one hailing them ‘the BEST’.
Another angry customer said: “BRING BACK ORGANIC BEANS.”
