And it doesn’t include drinks
Gordon Ramsay has come under fire after news emerged that he’s charging £290 a pop for Christmas dinner at one of his restaurants and it doesn’t even come with turkey.
If you’re a bit of a wizard when it comes to mathematics you’ll have quickly realised that for a family of four, this’ll set you back over £1,100 for the food alone.
The hefty price is the cost of spending Christmas Day at Petrus by Gordon Ramsay on Kinnerton Street, South West, London.
But, like we’ve said already, this doesn’t include turkey or even drinks.
As if that wasn’t enough there’s also an extra 15% added onto your bill as a “discretionary service charge”.
Although turkey’s not on the menu, you can enjoy dishes such as confit Dover sole, ceps, and black truffle, or lobster ravioli.
Aynhoe Park deer with beetroot and cranberry is also on the menu as well as potimarron tart with sea lettuce, coffee, and white truffle.
If turkey is a real necessity for you on Christmas Day then you can make your way over to The Savoy Grill where Ramsay is serving roasted Norfolk Bronze turkey as part of his Christmas menu.
The Savoy will also set you back £290 however you’ll only spend £100 per child thank god.
This still doesn’t include drinks though.
Regardless of your take on Ramsay, I think we’d be better off just staying at home.
