Hello Monday you cheeky swine, sneaking up on us like that.

Well we’ve come armed with a foolproof method to help you grind out those painful extra sets and reps at the start of the week.

JOE has found a brilliant little video from the powerlifting world of how those monsters gear up for a big lift…and those boys don’t mess about.

Texting on your phone isn’t going to lift those weights and posting a selfie on Instagram won’t make those muscles grow.

So how about a back-hander across the chops to galvanise the senses?
